We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician to support our high-volume ophthalmic practice at Georgia Retina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and document patient medical history
  • Determine visual acuity and perform automated refraction
  • Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions as ordered by physician
  • Perform office duties and clinical tasks, including data entry into our electronic medical record system
  • Provide patient services and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Maintain equipment and instruments

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to seek instruction in areas where you are not knowledgeable
  • Ability to recognize inconsistencies
  • Dependable transportation required to travel to other offices as needed
  • Must be flexible with traveling to various locations
