About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Technician II to join our team in the cannabis industry. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the facility and production machinery is provided with adequate and timely custodial services.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling production machinery or production areas. They will inspect work areas for cleanliness, complete required paperwork, and safely use and store cleaning materials. Additionally, they will perform heavy cleaning duties, report maintenance concerns, update safety data sheets, and may operate machinery necessary for marijuana waste disposal.

Responsibilities:

  • Dismantle, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production machinery or production areas
  • Inspect work areas for cleanliness and complete required paperwork
  • Safely use and store cleaning materials
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing windows, emptying trash, and recycling receptacles
  • Report maintenance concerns or repair requests to Facilities Management
  • Update safety data sheets as new chemicals are implemented
  • May operate machinery necessary for marijuana waste disposal

Requirements:

  • Age 21 or over
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
  • Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years custodial experience with knowledge of proper and safe use of custodial equipment
  • Knowledge of chemical use and purpose
  • Good organization and time management skills

SHIFT REQUIREMENTS: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
  • Ability to stand/move for long periods
  • Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting
  • Ability to work in extreme weather
  • Ability to ascend/descend a ladder

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
