Position Overview

Reports to:
Manager, Investment Services.

Supervised Functions:
None

Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility is to cultivate new business opportunities while providing exceptional service to current clients, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.

Core Duties:
  • Engage with both existing and potential clients to advocate for financial planning and investment solutions.
  • Facilitate educational seminars and workshops to enhance client knowledge.
  • Deliver client financial strategies and investment recommendations in a polished and professional manner.
  • Gather all necessary documentation, deposits, and premiums promptly and in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with program partners to manage accounts, address inquiries, and resolve product and service-related issues.
  • Monitor sales, marketing efforts, and referrals.
  • Provide referrals for additional services offered by Global Credit Union as suitable.
  • Engage in business development initiatives while identifying and proposing new opportunities.
  • Achieve production targets.
  • Comply with organizational and industry policies, procedures, compliance, licensing, and training requirements.
  • Maintain proficiency with organizational and program partner systems.
  • Conduct service calls and special projects as necessary.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

Education:
Required licenses include Series 7, 63, and/or 65/66, along with Life and Health Insurance Licenses. A LUTCF, CLU, ChFC, or CFP designation and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field are preferred.

Experience/Skills:
A minimum of three years in financial services sales is required. The ability to craft and deliver impactful messages tailored to diverse audiences is essential. Willingness to travel as needed is a must.

Compensation

Salary Range:
$55,000 - $65,500 annually. The starting base salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable, and will fall within the specified range. This role is eligible for performance-based commissions.
