At HEI Hotels & Resorts, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseman to join our team. As a Banquet Houseman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Banquet Manager in preparing for events and meetings, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to stay informed and aware of work requirements.
- Set up meeting rooms to specifications, including transporting and arranging equipment, tables, chairs, and other materials.
- Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
- Break down meeting rooms after events, returning equipment and materials to storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to established cleaning schedules.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of various types of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials, up to 100 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Physical stamina to work continuously throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
