Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Albuquerque City Drug, a leading pharmacy company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to management and staff to effectively execute company activities
  • Comply with all applicable federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Interact with patients, practitioners, and other stakeholders in a polite and effective manner
  • Perform duties in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices
  • Assist with prescription fill workflow, claims processing, and inventory management
  • Prepare completed products for dispensing and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with management of supplies inventory and provide suggestions to improve customer service and company systems
Requirements:
  • Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) and licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • Experience in retail or compounding pharmacy
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Cashiering experience and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Passion for integrative, regenerative, and functional medicine
  • Computer Rx and/or LifeFile software experience
  • Independent pharmacy experience
  • Ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions
  • High degree of situational awareness and detail orientation
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
