Position Overview: The Equipment Procurement Specialist will serve as an individual contributor within the Procurement team, focusing on sourcing and acquiring equipment and related services from new vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:
- Generate and issue purchase orders and agreements.
- Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
- Assist in Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
- Develop Commercial Bid Evaluations (CBE) with comprehensive price analyses.
- Oversee contract renewals in the event of Change Orders.

Negotiation Expertise:
- Cultivate and negotiate vendor contracts to secure advantageous terms and pricing for the organization.
- Address discrepancies and invoice-related issues.
- Identify quality subcontractors for equipment installation and maintenance tasks.

Quality Assurance:
- Research and identify potential new equipment suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal project teams while maintaining robust supplier relationships.
- Assess products and suppliers based on critical business criteria.
- Ensure all contracts comply with AIA standards.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to maintain accurate procurement records.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required; an MBA is a plus.
- 0+ years of experience in industrial equipment and installation purchasing, with a preference for US project/equipment purchasing.
- 0+ years of experience demonstrating strong negotiation and influencing skills in the industrial equipment sector.
- Experience in EPC, Battery, Battery Materials, or Chemical Industries is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is required, with SAP experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Strong analytical abilities to effectively interpret production data.
- Experience working in a global corporate environment.
