About the Role

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Cranbury, NJ. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for coordinating with customers to schedule preventative maintenance requests, ensuring that all Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Daily and Weekly Workforce Plans: Factor in customer needs, estimated unscheduled repairs, available parts, technician skill sets, and work hours to maximize customer service and productivity.
  • Communicate with Customers: Keep them informed about maintenance updates, including changes to schedules or work, billing concerns, or to resolve service issues.
  • Maintain Shop Productivity: Optimize the work plan to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred
  • ASE certification preferred
Working Conditions:
  • Regular, predictable attendance
  • Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
Compensation and Benefits:

Penske offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
