The Christus Health PACU Nurse plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leadership in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a Registered Nurse in this dynamic environment, you will be responsible for assessing patients immediately post-procedure and collaborating with the patient care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients post-procedure and develop comprehensive care plans
- Provide technical nursing care and interventions to patients of all ages
- Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Support the Christus Health mission and core values
- Current Louisiana RN license
- One year of recent Medical-Surgical or Critical Care experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BLS Certification
- PALS and ACLS certifications
