Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages, as well as maintaining patient charts, entering diagnosis and billing codes, and logging data into patient information systems. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing equipment, recognizing equipment malfunctions, and instructing patients in pretest preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages
  • Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, and log data into patient information systems
  • Clean and sterilize equipment
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and take corrective action
  • Instruct patients in pretest preparation
  • Comply with Siemens, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed
Requirements:
  • Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years MRI clinical experience required
  • Siemens equipment experience required
  • Valid ARRT license, registered in MRI
