Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Team Member to join our team. As a Cashier Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and promoting company programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet every customer with a smile, proactively approach customers to understand their needs, and provide personalized support to create an exceptional shopping experience.
- Transaction Processing: Process customer sales transactions and returns in accordance with established procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Program Promotion: Promote company programs, such as customer loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment, to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to support store operations, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and adhere to safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment, willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 15-35 lbs. items occasionally, and work extended periods of time standing or walking.
- Decision-Making: Ability to make sound decisions, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality of company information.
