We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Tax Collector to join our team at MBM Collections, LLC. This is a full-time position that requires strong communication and people skills, as well as the ability to negotiate payment programs with delinquent taxpayers.
About the Role:
- This position involves managing client relationships, reconciling accounts, and updating collection activity.
- The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years' experience in collection or delinquent accounts or accounts receivable management.
- They will also be responsible for negotiating payment programs, processing change orders, refunds, and interim billings.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel, are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships, including obtaining sensitive tax information and reconciling accounts.
- Negotiate payment programs with delinquent taxpayers.
- Process change orders, refunds, and interim billings.
- Reconcile accounts and update collection activity.
Benefits:
- This position offers a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
