About the Role:

At Genuine Parts Company, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Strategic Financial Planning Director to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, this role will be responsible for leading our global Rolling Forecast process, developing and implementing forecasting and budgeting processes, and managing a finance team to ensure departmental accountabilities are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global Rolling Forecast process, driving optimization and identifying process improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously optimize forecasting and budgeting processes related to costs.
  • Analyze actual results and identify trends through monthly variance analysis.
  • Manage and direct finance team members to ensure departmental accountabilities are met.
  • Partner with IT Systems Support to manage system enhancements and updates.
  • Interface with global Finance teams on multiple project implementations.
  • Build analytical financial models and perform ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Maintain frequent contact with all levels of the Finance organization and Senior Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance and Planning.
  • Strategic mindset and proven ability to lead a finance team.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, tracking, and reporting operating expenses.
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative ability, including a detailed understanding of financial statements and cash flow information.
  • Proven problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding Microsoft skills with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
