We are seeking Fixed Wing Pilots to deliver essential medical air transport services. Our pilots will operate Pilatus aircraft, adhering to a schedule that includes both day and night flights. Safety is paramount in our operations, and our pilots are part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining the highest safety standards for both crew and patients.
Essential Qualifications:
- Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certification is mandatory; candidates must be prepared to obtain ATP certification within five years of employment.
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate is required.
- A valid and unexpired driver's license is necessary.
- Minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
- At least 2,000 hours of fixed wing flight experience.
- 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- 500 hours of cross-country flight experience.
- 100 hours of night flying experience.
- 75 hours of instrument flight time, with at least 50 hours being actual instrument time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure safe transport of patients to various locations.
- Prepare aircraft for flight in accordance with all regulatory and company standards, including cleanliness and readiness for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by company policies and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with air and ground teams, flight crews, and other stakeholders.
- Provide comprehensive shift change information to incoming pilots and team members, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Stay current with required certifications and participate in ongoing training programs.
Work Environment:
- Work may be conducted in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Responsibilities may include de-icing aircraft, assisting with towing, and preparing planes for flight.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and perform various physical tasks.
- May involve lifting patients and equipment, with a lifting requirement of up to 70 lbs.
- Specific vision capabilities are necessary, including close, distant, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
