SERVPRO of Minnetonka is seeking a skilled Mitigation Estimator to enhance our dedicated team. If you are passionate about assisting individuals during challenging times, you could be the key to making it like it never happened.
Our Mitigation team is in search of a driven professional with a background in the restoration sector, eager to lead a team towards success by collaborating closely with our VP of Mitigation to refine our estimation processes. Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification
- Contact non-emergency leads to assess potential clients regarding project scope and payment capabilities (self-pay or insurance).
- Arrange estimates for leads requiring them.
- Promptly follow up on incoming leads to qualify and schedule estimates.
- Conduct on-site evaluations for residential and commercial clients to determine project scope.
- Deliver accurate estimates to clients within 24 hours post-evaluation.
- Follow up on estimates to secure jobs and schedule work.
- Gather necessary documentation and deposits to initiate work.
- Collaborate with the mitigation production team to ensure project execution.
- Establish customer relationships for potential construction services.
Additional Duties
- Act as a first responder to losses as necessary.
- Be available on-call one night per week and one weekend per month.
While on-call, be prepared to respond to commercial losses.
- Document projects through emails, notes, and files as required.
- Willingness to travel for storm-related work and manage storm teams.
- Address any customer service concerns that may arise.
- Manage multiple job files efficiently.
- Aim for a close rate of 75% on all written estimates.
- Coordinate with clients and insurance companies for project approval.
- Ensure smooth transitions to production once work is scheduled.
- Maintain clear communication with the Production Manager, Operations Manager, and Marketing Representatives.
- Support marketing efforts by building relationships with adjusters and other influential contacts.
Base Salary: $75,000 plus 2% commission on completed jobs (with expectations of $1 million in Mitigation Jobs annually).

- Minimum of 5 years in the restoration industry.
- Proven experience with Xactimate, including Level 1, 2 & 3 certifications.
- Preferred familiarity with DASH, Docusketch, and MICA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with insurance providers.
- Highly organized with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of job profitability.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Working Hours and Travel
- This position requires on-call availability for after-hours calls to manage losses.
- Full-time role with working hours typically between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Expectation of long hours, on-call duties, and weekend work.
- Local travel is required, with potential for some out-of-area and overnight travel.
