Waters Edge Family is in search of an innovative and skilled AVL (Audio, Video, Lighting) Production Specialist to enhance our team. This pivotal role is responsible for delivering exceptional production support for various events and services. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in live audio, lighting design, video production, and team leadership. Proficiency in creating promotional videos is essential. This position demands a unique combination of technical expertise and creative insight to elevate our events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive AVL support for services and events, including live audio, lighting, video production, and graphic displays.
- Oversee and coordinate AVL requirements for events of different scales, including evenings and weekends.
- Recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams, fostering a collaborative atmosphere in AVL production.
- Create high-quality promotional videos for various initiatives, encompassing filming, lighting, sound, editing, and motion graphics.
- Contribute creatively to live production environments, introducing innovative concepts to enhance the overall experience.
- Maintain and troubleshoot AVL equipment to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Work closely with staff and ministry leaders to address the technical and artistic demands of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in live sound engineering, lighting design, video production, and graphic design.
- Strong understanding of filming techniques, lighting, sound editing, and motion graphics.
- Experience in leading and developing volunteer teams.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Creative mindset with a readiness to share new ideas with the production team.
- Familiarity with contemporary AVL technologies and trends.
