Mixer/Compounder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mixer/Compounder to join our team at Central Garden & Pet Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing and formulating high-quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Mix and formulate liquid and dry mixes for efficient operation and high-quality products
• Verify all materials in the production area are correct and accurate
• Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and working in a safe manner
• Read, write, understand, and converse in English

Requirements

• Practical working knowledge of basic arithmetic functions
• Ability to work in a manufacturing facility with varying degrees of protection, including respirator, gloves, coveralls, and safety glasses/goggles
