Location: Situated in a charming midwestern town, just a short drive from major urban centers, this position offers a blend of community spirit and access to vibrant city life. The area boasts excellent educational institutions, abundant outdoor activities, cultural events, and a lively downtown filled with local businesses, eateries, and coffee shops.

Facility: A community hospital that delivers a comprehensive range of healthcare services.

Opportunity:
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position for a dedicated physician.
  • Candidates should be eager to support the hospital's expansion efforts.
  • Standard office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a four-day workweek that includes one surgical day and three clinic days.
  • The on-call schedule is no more than 1:3 for both weekdays and weekends.
  • On-call responsibilities involve attending to the Birth Center, managing deliveries, and performing clinic visits.
  • The hospital averages around 350 births annually at a Level 1 nursery.
  • Physicians will be required to travel to three additional clinic sites within a 15-25 minute radius of the hospital, which currently has limited OB/GYN staffing.
  • The role includes inpatient rounds and conducting clinic visits.
  • The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech Expanse.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who can start promptly.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply, with consideration for those graduating as far out as 2025.
  • Eligible for federal school loan forgiveness programs.
Compensation:
