Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the preparation and serving of meals in a correctional facility. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain a safe and healthy food environment.

About the Role: As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising inmates in the food preparation process, ensuring that all meals meet production plans and company standards. You will also assign tasks and coordinate work to promote efficiency, while maintaining facility sanitation and safety. Additionally, you will adhere to regulations and ensure proper portions and special dietary requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
  • SUPERVISE INMATES IN FOOD PREPARATION
  • EVALUATE WORK PERFORMANCE AND PROVIDE COACHING AS NEEDED
  • Maintain accurate daily population counts and review security policies
  • CONDUCT INVENTORY AND REQUISITION ORDERS

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of one year of food preparation or related work experience, as well as previous supervisory experience. You must also be able to obtain a food safety certification and maintain correctional facility security clearance. Physical demands include lifting, bending, and standing, and uniforms and PPE may be required.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
