Registered Nurse RN Bariatric Surgery Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Bariatric Surgery Unit team at Lancaster General Health. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- RN licensure issued by the PA Board of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher level nursing degree.
- Completion of the Nurse Residency Program or more than 15 months of practice.
- CPR Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support.
