Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to collaborate with our team in a school-based setting.

The ideal candidate will work closely with licensed SLPs, educators, and families to support students' communication and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide speech therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs, under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately and timely document and report on student progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with school staff and families to support communication development.
  • Materials Preparation: Assist with the preparation of therapy materials and activities.
Requirements:
  • Active SLPA License/Certification: Possess an active license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Educational Background: Hold a bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Collaboration Ability: Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
