Job Summary:
Soliant Health is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a full-time position at a school district. This role offers an immediate start and extends until the end of the school year, requiring onsite work only. We welcome applications from Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY) as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs, ensuring accurate and timely identification of communication goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with teachers and parents to support student progress.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, promoting effective communication and language skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and other professionals, to support student progress and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Nevada.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
