Key Responsibilities- Policy Management: Ensure timely and accurate commercial insurance quotes are provided to customers, and policy schedules are monitored and updated as necessary.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service through first contact resolution, processing endorsements, generating policy documents, and timely processing of policy renewals.
- Lead Management: Effectively utilize lead management systems to track and manage leads, and prioritize tasks to meet minimum retention standards.
- Business Development: Proactively work with insurance agents to resolve policy issuance issues, and identify opportunities to promote additional coverage and services.
- Risk Assessment: Determine customer risk based on claim and payment frequency, and discuss with insurance carriers to determine necessary actions.
- Communication: Clearly communicate policy coverages, and provide regular updates to customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Documentation: Properly document all customer and prospect communications, and maintain accurate records of policy transactions.
- Training and Development: Complete Continuing Education to maintain active status of insurance licensing, and stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED).
- License: Must possess an active General Lines License with the ability to sell Commercial policies, and be willing to acquire additional state licenses as needed.
- Experience: 2+ years' experience in servicing commercial insurance policies, 2+ years' experience in sales with a proven track record of success, and 1+ years' experience in a call center environment.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities and propose solutions.
