Job Title: CVOR Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Norfolk, Virginia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CVOR Technologist to work in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Operating Room environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in the operating room
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Participate in departmental on-call schedule
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting
  • Current CPR provider card
  • Minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population
  • Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed
  • CABG and cardiac procedures
