Job Summary:

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to join our team. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Monitor food costs and inventory to ensure optimal use of resources
  • Collaborate with our food services director to ensure seamless food service operations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary arts training preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
