Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, rational, and cost-effective therapy for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in clinical programs to improve patient care and optimize medication therapy
  • Perform medication reviews and medication therapy management to ensure safe and appropriate use of medications
  • Maintain proficiency in order processing and support pharmacy operations in medication distribution and operational functions
  • Collaborate and communicate with pharmacy team members, other healthcare professionals, and leaders to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services
  • Identify, document, and resolve potential and actual adverse medication events
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD
  • Current license for pharmacist in the state(s) where practicing
  • Valid state-issued ID
  • BLS Basic Life Support (preferred)
  • Immunization Certified (preferred)
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a general office environment with periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads. May be exposed to limited hazardous substances or body fluids.
