We are seeking a skilled Rough Mechanic to join our team. As a Rough Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining HVAC equipment, fans, grilles, dampers, wiring, and piping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and install materials according to product specifications and job standards.
  • Install HVAC equipment, fans, grilles, dampers, wiring, and piping as directed.
  • Fabricate and install assemblies and systems in manufacturing plants or worksites according to blueprints, specifications, and other resource information.
  • Measure, size, cut, and apply duct insulation.
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of duct materials, copper, and composite parts.
  • Obtain and maintain the required tools needed to perform all jobs assigned.
  • Arrive at the job site at the scheduled time and location as instructed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and develop communication and teamwork skills with supervisors and co-workers on job sites.
  • Report any job and/or safety-related issues directly to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
