Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will have prior experience in housekeeping or a related field and possess excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position working 4 days on, 2 days off, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities- Perform housekeeping and cleaning activities for resident rooms, common areas, and household within established guidelines.
- Clean assigned areas daily, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common household areas, offices, living areas, and household spas.
- Clean floors using dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, and scrubs.
- Clean movable and stationary furnishings and fixtures in all assigned areas.
- Clean and disinfect resident beds and over-bed tables.
- Straighten or rearrange furniture as directed.
- Clean and dust all furniture and horizontal surfaces, spot clean or wash, disinfect when necessary, and polish where required.
- Empties, cleans, and re-lines waste baskets in resident rooms, bathrooms, and offices.
- Inspect furnishings for wear and defects and report to supervisor.
- Clean bathrooms, including resident, private, public, and household spas, and replenish bathroom supplies.
- Clean walls, windows, doors, and ceilings, spot clean between washing, disinfect when necessary, and clean wall and ceiling fixtures as scheduled.
- Clean entrances and exits of the facility and household.
- Perform make-ready cleaning duties according to established procedure in resident rooms when residents have been discharged or transferred and prepare rooms for new residents.
- Clean household beauty shops or main beauty shops as assigned.
- May be assigned to clean administrative offices, chapel, and conference room.
- Report observations concerning structural and equipment wear, defects, and malfunctions to supervisor and request work orders for repairs.
- Report supply and equipment needs to supervisor for replenishing.
- Maintain equipment used in performing duties.
- Maintain lamps in assigned households, change bulbs, and ensure lamps are plugged in.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
The estimated salary for this position is $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
