Role Summary

This role involves programming CAD machinery for the automated cutting of upholstery materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve fabric rolls from storage and position them on the cutting table.
  • Support the CAD Cutter in the loading and unloading of materials.
  • Measure fabric accurately (width and repeat) for precise cutting.
  • Input measurements into the CAD software to establish cutting markers for the operator.
  • Assist in sourcing COM Fabric from inventory.
  • Follow production work tickets to ensure fabric is cut to specifications.
  • Confirm that the fabric being cut corresponds with the production ticket.
  • Collaborate with Product Development on new styles and specifications for the Lectra Program.
  • Engage with Product Development for the introduction of new products.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with CAD software is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD systems related to pattern design is essential.
  • Ability to read and understand safety guidelines, operating instructions, and other relevant documents.
