Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team at Concentra. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university.
  • Board Certification.
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customarily has at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
