Job Title: Network Coordinator

This role is responsible for sustaining business processes and processes impacted by data and systems. The successful candidate will serve as the central point for interface changes for systems and data, developing and executing process improvements, reporting, and quality monitoring of processes, vendor relationships, and trading partner exchanges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Business Process Management (BPM) including modeling processes using various notations, creating components, implementing processes, and assessing results.
  • Regularly interpret and monitor departmental contractual compliance of government requirements, including determining business impact and managing the collection and submission of required performance metrics and data reporting requirements.
  • Actively participate on national and local standards committees.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced analysts.
  • Maintain an understanding of current project management application development methodologies, tools, and techniques (SDLC) for small to medium-sized projects.
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in project team and vendor activities for assigned projects, including business and technical research, planning, analysis, risk assessment, quality assurance, documentation, communication, and deployment.
  • Provide project management for small to medium-sized projects, initiatives, and applications.
  • Provide support as projects and applications move through the process and post-implementation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in healthcare, health insurance, business analysis, or information systems, or five years of experience in the same field.
  • Demonstrated intermediate skills with spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and run intermediate to complex queries and reports.
  • Preferred qualifications include intermediate experience using PHS, Facets, AWD/Chorus, 2-3 years' experience with prior authorizations, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Physical Requirements:
  • Interact with others requiring the ability to communicate information.
  • Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
  • See and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
