About the Role:

Buckner International is seeking a highly skilled Fatherhood Educator to join our team in Beaumont, TX. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide fatherhood education and support services to eligible clients. As a Fatherhood Educator, you will deliver approved program curriculum, including discipline, communication, co-parenting, and workforce readiness. You will also recruit and engage fathers, coordinate group sessions, and provide resource and referral services.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and engage fathers to receive services and determine eligibility.
  • Coordinate group sessions and deliver approved program curriculum.
  • Provide resource and referral services linking families with community resources and support systems.
  • Manage caseloads and prepare documentation for program compliance.
  • Establish relationships with fathers based on equality and respect.
  • Represent Buckner at community events and conferences.

Requirements:

  • A basic understanding of a comprehensive field of knowledge normally associated with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior work experience in education, child health and development, child abuse or neglect, and/or parent education preferred.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience using community resources preferred.
  • Ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable.
  • Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.
  • Ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
