Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to residents with memory impairments.
- Respond to patient calls and assess their needs to provide timely assistance.
- Assist patients with daily activities, personal hygiene, and mobility, including bathing, dressing, and transferring.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores and promote comfort.
- Review patient dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate meal planning.
- Obtain information from healthcare professionals about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, food and liquid intake, and urinary and fecal output, reporting changes to medical staff.
- Conduct regular observations of patient behavior, noting any complaints or physical symptoms to report to nurses.
- Stay up-to-date on CNA training and facility policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
