We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our Environmental Services team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and public areas.
• Operate various cleaning equipment, such as walk-behind or riding floor scrubbers, to ensure floors are clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with special events and set-ups as needed, including preparing and cleaning event spaces.
• Properly use and maintain cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
