Transport Specialist

Shift & Location:

• Part Time (Morning & Evening Shifts)

Role Responsibilities:

The Shuttle Driver is expected to arrive for their scheduled shift punctually to ensure timely passenger pickups and drop-offs. Before passengers board, the driver must conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle's interior and exterior to confirm there are no mechanical issues and that the vehicle is clean. With a friendly demeanor, the driver should assist passengers by opening doors and greeting them as they approach. The driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers to designated locations while fostering a professional and courteous atmosphere.

Key Duties Include:

• Comply with the APC location site Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific training requirements.
• Arrive on time for the assigned shift.
• Inspect the vehicle for any damage, mechanical issues, and cleanliness, reporting any concerns to the main office.
• Safely transport passengers to their designated locations.
• Maintain accurate gas and mileage logs.
• Ensure the vehicle's engine is turned off when not in use.
• Communicate effectively with team members using handheld radios.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers and colleagues through strong interpersonal skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• A minimum of 5 years of driving experience or 1-2 years as a shuttle driver.
• Must be at least 18 years old for insurance purposes.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Flexible availability to cover shifts as needed.

Position Type and Expected Hours:

First shift operates from 7 AM to 11 AM, while the second shift runs from 3 PM to 7 PM.
