As a key member of our athletic department, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing a high-quality athletic program that emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan that aligns with the school's athletic department goals and objectives.
  • Recruit, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of student-athletes.
  • Provide guidance and support to student-athletes to ensure academic success and eligibility.
  • Collaborate with the athletic director and other coaches to ensure a cohesive and effective athletic program.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the school and athletic department.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the high school or college level.
  • Successful completion of the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) course and test.
  • Successful completion of the NFHS Concussion in Sports course.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators.
  • Ability to motivate and develop student-athletes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Previous experience as a coach or participant in the sport at the high school or college level.
  • Current CPR certification.

**Working Conditions:**

  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
