We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Methodist Southlake Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care by ensuring the proper processing and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, fill, and deliver supply orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process and sterilize instrument trays to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Clean and inspect patient equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Gather instruments and supplies for surgical case carts, ensuring that all necessary items are available and easily accessible
  • Operate equipment and computer systems with accuracy and precision
  • Inventory and restock departmental supplies and special carts to maintain a well-stocked and organized environment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Sterile Processing Technician program
  • Certification by HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) or CBSPD, or Certified Surgical Technologist certification accepted in lieu of HSPA or CBSPD certification, if accompanied by a requirement to obtain HSPA or CBSPD certification within 12 months
  • 2 years direct instrumentation experience preferred
