Job Overview:

Our organization provides comprehensive support services to individuals with mental health, physical disabilities, and co-occurring disorders. We are seeking experienced caregivers who can provide direct support services, including personal care, household chores, and transportation assistance. In this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support services, including personal care and household chores
  • Assist with transportation services, including driving SCS van or personal vehicle
  • Participate in crisis intervention and emergency response situations
  • Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment by practicing verbal de-escalation techniques
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, family members, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience working in healthcare or human services
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to caregiving
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid and Crisis Intervention Training (CIT)
