About the Role
CoxHealth is seeking a seasoned financial leader to join our team as a Finance Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the department's financial requirements, including creating and maintaining monthly financial reports, managing and developing annual budgets, and training and supporting leaders and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the mission and goals of CoxHealth
- Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions
- Lead and develop a team of financial professionals to ensure effective financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5-7 years of accounting experience, with a preference for experience in healthcare
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to direct and supervise staff
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Excellent knowledge of Office Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize and coordinate the completion of multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
