Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Greet patients warmly and provide a comfortable and inviting waiting area.
- Schedule Appointments: Schedule appointments for patients, considering their preferences and the availability of dental staff.
- Manage Patient Records: Collect and update patient information accurately, including personal details and medical history.
- Coordinate with Dental Staff: Coordinate with dental staff to manage the appointment calendar efficiently and ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Process Insurance Claims: Verify and update patient insurance information, calculate and collect co-pays, deductibles, and other payments from patients.
- Respond to Patient Inquiries: Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing information about dental services, appointment availability, and general practice policies.
- Experience: At least 1 year of dental office experience, preferably in a customer service role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in using dental practice management software and general office applications.
