Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Admissions, Financial Aid, and Records Director. This key role will oversee the management of student admissions, enrollment accounting, financial aid delivery, academic records, and reporting in accordance with school, accreditation, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the admissions, financial aid, and records teams, ensuring effective management of student applications, financial aid processing, and academic records.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for admissions, financial aid, and records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Dean to achieve departmental goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the school's strategic plan.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of staff members, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as with other educational institutions, to ensure access to resources and support for students.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, laws, and best practices in admissions, financial aid, and records, ensuring the school remains compliant and competitive.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in admissions, financial aid, or records management in a higher education setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, business, or public administration.
  • Advanced project management skills, with experience in supervising staff and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field, such as education, business, or public administration.
  • Experience in financial aid management, with knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Strong understanding of the academic environment, including admissions, records, and financial aid processes.
  • Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
