Job Overview

Larson Design Group is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Technical Leader. This role will coordinate overall design activities, project submission schedules, and ensure the final products meet technical requirements and client goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform independent planning and design tasks, review work of others, and prepare construction documents.
  • Have experience with technically complex projects and possess knowledge of codes and standards applicable to design.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with project teams and perform initial QA/QC review of project submissions.
  • Assist senior management in development of schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.
  • Promote quality assurance and quality control processes to improve deliverables and reduce design errors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant Engineering field from ABET-accredited school.
  • Minimum of 5 years job-related experience and Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of design and development process, A/E/S industry, and ability to resolve complex design and construction-related issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, and strong organizational and time management skills.
