Job Title: Block Plant Maintenance Mechanic

At Sunroc, we are seeking a skilled Block Plant Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery at our block plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular plant inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Maintain and service production machinery, including replacing and adjusting wear parts as needed.
  • Repair and install electrical systems, and remove and install molds used in production machines.
  • Perform light metal fabricating and other tasks as delegated by management.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Experience with Columbia machinery and mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in the use of arc and wire feed welders, as well as pneumatic and hand tools.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems and metal fabrication.
  • Dependability, self-motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs a plus.
