We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at Ansco & Associates, LLC. As a Traffic Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our workers and the general public by controlling traffic in and around active construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Control traffic flow using hand signals and paddles to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and set up traffic control devices, including flags, cones, signs, and markers.
- Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman or Supervisor as needed.
- Operate company vehicles safely and follow company driving policies.
- Follow local, state, and federal Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
- Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
- Work in various weather conditions and perform other duties as assigned.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Have a valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Previous flagging experience is preferred.
- Routinely work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift between 10 and 25 pounds, and use fine hand motions.
- Occasionally work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift between 26 and 55 pounds.
