About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal cares such as bathing, oral hygiene, and grooming.
  • Provide basic care and support to patients under the direction of a nurse.
  • Observe patients and report their status to the appropriate staff.
  • Chart and document patient information in our electronic medical record system.
  • Ensure patient rooms and work areas are clean and organized.
Requirements
  • Must be able to commit to Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Must be willing to commit to employment with Fairview Health Services for at least 1 year after start date.
  • Must be able to obtain BLS certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association prior to start of the OnTrack program.
  • Must have access to a computer outside of scheduled classroom times for curriculum, studying, and catch-up work.
