Passive Counter Measure System Specialist

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Passive Counter Measure System (PCMS) Specialist to support our Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) customer at Naval Station Norfolk. As a PCMS Specialist, you will provide technical assistance, assessment, and corrective actions for Code 241 cognizant equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Assistance and Assessment: Provide technical expertise and support for PCMS-related tasks, including inspections, assessments, and corrective actions.
- Inspections and Assessments: Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of ship condition to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to correct current situations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Write and provide MAF/debrief reports as required, and answer Engineering Service Request (ESR) and Departure from Specification (DFS) as needed.
- Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training to the Ship's Force during shipboard evolutions and attend conferences, seminars, and other training events to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Experience: Eight (8) years of experience with the Navy's Passive Countermeasure System (PCMS) and four (4) years of experience as a team leader in PCMS installation.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain PCMS installation certification (level I) and instructor certification (level II) cards issued by Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme, CA.
- Skills: Working knowledge of Navy assessment programs, visit processes, and reporting methods for visits, as well as ability to utilize computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, for compiling information for reports and history files.
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance. US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.
