Job Description

Overview

The Treetop ABA Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team as an In-Home Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy services to children with autism and special needs in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ABA therapy interventions in clients' homes, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance essential skills and improve overall quality of life.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data on client progress, working closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to ensure effective and consistent therapy.
  • Collaborate with program staff to develop and refine individualized ABA therapy programs, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide regular updates to parents and guardians on their child's daily activities and progress, fostering a strong partnership between our team and families.
  • Customize and refine ABA therapy programs to meet the unique needs of each client, incorporating feedback and guidance from BCBA and program staff.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans, working closely with BCBA and program staff to ensure effective and sustainable outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members, utilizing strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Embody a growth-centered approach, embracing ongoing learning and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize reliable transportation for client visits, as client transportation is not provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience with ABA therapy or working with special needs is beneficial but not required.
  • RBT certification preferred; if not certified, commitment to obtaining certification within 60 days is expected. We offer a pay increase and cover certification costs upon completion.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Willingness to obtain In-Person First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and up-to-date insurance are necessary.
