Maintenance Associate Job Description

Suntex Marina Investors, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our marina facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems, including ventilation, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, expediting maintenance requests from management and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Perform yard upkeep, including lawn mowing, trash collection, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Opening and Closing Duties: Ensure the marina is prepared for opening and closing, including performing necessary tasks to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Appliance Installation: Install appliances and equipment as needed, following manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks and filling gaps in walls, to maintain the integrity of our facilities.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other professionals during renovations and maintenance projects.
  • Safety Awareness: Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them immediately to your supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings, as well as experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.
  • Communication Skills: Highly effective communication skills and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is required to ensure the quality of our facilities and services.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
