Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle, maintaining accurate records, and performing pre-trip inspections to ensure road worthiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and paperwork in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and explain the process to ensure compliance.
  • Operate the vehicle safely, handling various terrains and conditions.
  • Load and unload equipment/materials, securing loads properly.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fueling, lubricating, and servicing the vehicle.
  • Understand and operate air brakes systems if equipped.
  • Assist ground crews with daily tasks and be open to labor work when not operating a vehicle.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License for the State of Colorado.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous commercial driving experience.
  • DOT certification.
  • Pass a drug test and background screen.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
  • Good eyesight required.
  • Able to drive up to 8/10 hours daily.
