Dynamic Part-time Speech Therapist Opportunity in Skilled Nursing Facility

Our center offers a flexible work schedule for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. As a PRN SLP, you will have the opportunity to assess and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop personalized therapy plans.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a resident-centered approach. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to residents' needs and goals.
- Provide therapy interventions, including compensatory techniques, exercises, and alternative communication strategies.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing management strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Monitor residents' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document outcomes.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Colorado.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a resident-centered approach.
- Flexibility to work on a PRN basis as needed.
