We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our esteemed team at Community Hospital. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for providing high-quality healthcare services.
Certification Requirements- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as required by specialty)
State License Verification: Primary source verification upon hire is mandatory. Temporary licenses are not accepted. Ensure possession of a valid compact license or a permanent state license prior to signing.
NURSYS Verification: Required annually for all nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and LVNs. This is not applicable for Allied staff. Must be updated before the start date if expiring within 60 days.
NIH Stroke Certification: Required annually for all nursing staff. Must be updated before the start date if expiring within 60 days.
Job DetailsExperience: A minimum of 12 months of Epic experience within the last year is essential. Candidates must have 5 days or less of requested time off to be considered.
Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience is required.
Patient Ratios: 1:4
Float Requirement: Yes
Electronic Documentation: Experience with EPIC is required.
Job RequirementsRequired Skills:
- Licenses & Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required as applicable by specialty. Must be updated prior to the start date if expiring within 60 days.
Education & Training:
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA required, RQI acceptable)
- BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA required, RQI acceptable)
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA, ARC, Military acceptable)
Compliance: HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgment is required annually. Travelers must complete pass/fail testing during the first day of orientation and competency exams prior to starting. These must be updated annually.
